Savills
— Palazzo Vendramin Venice, Italy
LUXURY RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY IDENTITY & BROCHURE
Concept and design of logo and perfect bound brochure, promoting the luxury apartments resulting from the unique restoration of the 15th century Palazzo Vendramin in Venice, Italy. The cover image is of a fresco uncovered at the palazzo, printed on opalescent paper to enhance the gold leaf effect layers, inspired by the fading grandeur of the palazzo. To add a sense of the interior detail, I designed an icon based on the wrought ironwork found in the palazzo, a flourish featured on the bottom of every page.
The background story of the brochure
is the process of discovery by the restoration team. The team uncovered many original 15th century features – painted wood ceilings, ironwork, stone floors and frescoes – restoring and preserving their finds, thus adding to the provenance of the property.
Focussing on the craftsmanship and historical details, by incorporating photography of the restoration in progress and adding special print finishes to the brochure, brings the residence to life as a very unique and rare lifestyle choice.
