BEAUTY CONCESSION LOOKBOOK
I was tasked with designing an A5 lookbook introducing the luxurious niche brands and products which were launched in House of Fraser’s Oxford St store, in the new beauty concession – Apothecary, also an existing range of beauty products. The brand believes
in creating a cutting edge beauty emporium with products based on new technology but where traditional practices are relevant and desirable.
With the existing illustration of bottles and logo, I was inspired to progress the brand concept by creating a ‘book’ with an antique look– from the 17th century when perfumery existed on a level with alchemy, formulas shrouded in secrecy. The cover is replicating old parchment paper with quill ink splatters and flourishes scattered throughout the pages. With clean product shots juxtaposed against an antique look, a luxurious, indulgent and slightly magical experience is offered.
