Microsoft was hosting an event in Paris
with the aim of introducing Microsoft AI tools. Their mission statement being; ‘Our mission is to empower every person and every organisation on the planet to achieve more’. Demo stations were set up, showcasing startup companies developing AI based tools or platforms for enhancing business growth, data management, customer engagement and medical advancement, amongst many other offerings.

My task was to design and artwork large format wall graphics for the main meeting space — the Viva Lounge, ‘Ushering in the era of AI’, and the space for Microsoft for Startups demo booths.

Microsoft supplied an AI generated image as a basis for the design concept. The challenge was to use various crops of the image, which were not adequate in size for large scale printing. With a pixel scaler tool and several print tests we achieved images that would print at scale. My aim was to achieve a flow through the event spaces, using tight crops of the cubes, leaving clean areas for messaging and a sense of space. The outcome was a dynamic, interactive environment with a calm aesthetic.
